Really it's a ratio. Add some kind of flavoring - vanilla with the gelatin step, or steep an herb in the cream when heating...


Ingredients:

2 c heavy cream


0.5 c sugar


a pinch of salt


1 packet (0.25 oz) powdered gelatin


0.25 c milk


Method:

oil cups


sprinkle gelatin over milk and let soften for 10 or 15 minutes


heat cream sugar, and salt to just boiling


remove from heat and add gelatin mixture and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved


pour mixture into cups and refrigerate 2 hours until set


unmold or not. sauce or not.

4 servings
